Valorant Episode 8 Act 3 has arrived and here’s everything about the new Act, including its start date and latest content.
While Valorant Episode 8 Act 2 saw an increase in the pool of Agents through Clove, a Controller Agent, Act 3 will bring a new map and it will be revealed at VCT Masters Shanghai.
Like always, Episode 8 Act 3 brings a new premium skinline and Battle Pass for players to grind and earn rewards from. The new Act also starts a fresh season of Premier with certain changes and VCT Masters Shanghai, later in May 2024.
So, here’s a rundown of Valorant E8A3 release date and its new content.

Valorant Episode 8 Act 3 release date and time
Valorant Episode 8 Act 3 was released on April 30, 2024. Act 2 ended on the same day and Riot launched the new Act for players after a short maintenance period.
Episode 8 Act 3 launched at 2 pm PT / 5 pm ET / 10 pm BST. The release time is similar to how previous Acts launched.

What’s new in Valorant Episode 8 Act 3?
With patch 8.08, Valorant brought another pivotal shift in the meta. Cypher and Viper were significantly nerfed and we got the Mystbloom bundle as the new premium skinline.
The new Act brings an update to the Premier game mode where meeting a certain set of requirements would place players one division higher in Stage E9A1. This change has been implemented to align players with the new “Invite” Division for the next Act.

For the later half of Episode 8 Act 3, we will get to see a new map which will be the 11th map in the game. At the time of writing, there’s no info about its setting, theme, or layout, but we’ll make sure to update this section when Riot reveals it officially.
